Spring 2009 will see the opening of Shrewsbury’s Theatre Severn on Frankwell Quay. This will be a bold culture, arts and entertainment venue housed within an iconic building enjoying a stunning riverside location at the gateway to the medieval and historic town of Shrewsbury. The venue will provide a unique backdrop to entertain and impress and a flexible and state of the art conference and lecture facility. The Main Auditorium will accommodate 650 for arts and entertainment events as well as medium scale conferences. The Studio Theatre will provide facilities for Cabaret and Theatre style events for 250 and offer reception capacity for 500. The Hospitality Suite with breathtakintg views over the River Severn will offer a flexible event space for up to 80. The Theatre will provide a unique event setting, excellent cuisine, state of the art technical support and tailor-made events that will exceed expectations.
